Most of the Plaques were placed for the First Fleeters has been done by the Fellowship of First Fleeters through the Plaques Committee. The Committee travelled as far as England to perform the Plaque Ceremony.

Phillip Gidley King
Plaque Inscription:
On 6th March 1788 a group of those who sailed
to Australia on the First Fleet arrived on Norfolk
Island with Second Lieutenant Philip Gidley King
on H.M.S. Supply. Many other First Fleeters
arrived on Norfolk Island after that date.
This plaque is dedicated to the memory of all those
men and women.
